Farm in der Region von Villarrica, im Süden von Chile (IX Region) für die Produktion und für den Export von Haselnüssen mit einer hochwertigen Schale, die 2005 angepflanzt wurden. Die Farm umfasst 128,64 ha, von denen 87,1 ha mit Haselnusspflanzen in den Jahren 2005, 2006 und 2007 mit der Sorte Barcelona, Giffony und TGL (Tonda Gentille de la Lange) und 11% Fremdbefruchtung bepflanzt wurden. Die Wasserversorgung des Landes verfügt über Wasserrechte, die ordnungsgemäss (260/Liter/Sekunde) des Kanals Entre Rios eingeschrieben ist.
Der Fundo hat die folgende Infrastruktur:
1. Landhaus von 164m2 ist solide gebaut (Metallstruktur furniert mit Pino Oregón) und mit ausgezeichneten Installationen ausgestattet. Das Haus wurde 2005 gebaut.
2. Das Büro von 45 m2 ist ebenso wie das Haus solide gebaut und besteht aus einem Raum mit Bad.
3. Baumschule: Für die Aufzucht der Haselnusspflanzen wurden 7 ha bereitgestellt, die ordnungsgemäss beim zuständigen Landwirtschaftsamt eingeschrieben sind und die im Augenblick eine mögliche Kapazität von 200.000 Pflanzen für ca. 300 ha hat. Mit der Möglichkeit, die Produktion noch zu erhöhen.
Das Land wird ad corpus angeboten und mit allen Maschinen verkauft (Traktor Landini, Motoren, Pumpen, Mähmachine, etc.)
Der Rest des Landes hat natürlichen Baumbestand.
Die italienische Firma Ferrero besitzt in Chile zwei grosse Länder mit Haselnusspflanzen (ein Land befindet sich in der Nähe dieses Fundos) und ebenfalls mit Baumschulen. Dank der hervorragenden Qualität der in Chile produzierten Haselnüsse sichern sie sich den Rohstoff für ihre Produkte Nutella und für ihre Schokolade Rocher. Vielleicht sollte eine andere Schokoladenfima dieselbe Idee haben.
